Lloydminster Interval Home was looking to “refresh” their image, starting with the logo and ending at the website.
Lloydminster Interval Home – Old Website Header
We started with the logo, which was comprised of a Msasa tree and a generic script font. By adding a pastel yellow sun behind the tree, we were able to give the logo a much more optimistic feel. The colour palette also shifted to a brighter, less ominous feel. Originally, we had tried to incorporate a face (or faces) into the tree branches, but ultimately that approach was abandoned.
The final logo feels friendly, casual, and approachable, with an undeniable air of optimism and femininity. Once the logo was complete, we developed an applied a new visual identity across various items, culminating in the website. The website was a massive undertaking, as there were already many pages of content in existence. We wanted to organize it in an easier to navigate format, as well as make it fun and interesting. We also included a live Facebook feed, which keeps the website fresh and connected.

Our client was planning on opening a much-needed activity centre for kids of all ages. Ironjet had the opportunity to see the actual empty space before it was even developed, and to offer direction in Brand Development.
Ironjet built a complete visual identity for A Bit Extreme, and implemented it across a wide variety of items. It’s a fun and youthful brand which has been received very well in Lloydminster.

The City of Lloydminster has numerous facilities and departments, and was looking to create a more unified brand which encompassed them. It quickly turned into one of our most extensive and thorough projects.
The old brand used a dark, navy blue which was a little dreary and heavy-handed, and didn’t play well with other colours in layouts. The new brand uses a medium blue to promote more of an optimistic “everyman” sort of feel, and the colour also works much better in layouts. Orange is a staple of the brand, due to the city’s large, orange border markers, but it compliments the lighter blue well, and also helps the iconic border markers to move to the foreground in the logo.
The logo itself is consistently center-aligned (even when text appears below it, in contrast to the old version) to present a strong and stable image to the viewer. There is a subtle left-to-right visual flow which indicates flexibility and a progressive attitude. The icon also presents a solid silhouette which is much stronger than the previous iteration, which is important to a brand that is built on strength, authority, and trust. From a technical standpoint, the new logo also improves on the old version by adding proper three-point perspective to the border markers, and uses subtle shading to “lift” the logo off of the page. It is simpler, cleaner, and more elegant.
To ensure consistent usage, we also provided twenty-page document outlining the proper usages of the logo, sample layouts, templates, and style guidelines.

The City of Lloydminster needed a strong visual identity for Canada Day celebrations . . . something that may be used every year with very little change.
We developed a bold, exciting and timeless brand for Canada Day. Vivid colours create excitement, and angled elements convey a sense of energy and make it “kid-friendly”. The brand communicates a celebration of diversity, history and vibrant Canadian life. The logo itself focuses on the words “Canada Day” and a large silhouette of a maple leaf, comprised of smaller maple leafs, rings and confetti – emblematic of our Canadian culture, which is comprised of many unique individuals and cultures.
