Our client was planning on opening a much-needed activity centre for kids of all ages. Ironjet had the opportunity to see the actual empty space before it was even developed, and to offer direction in Brand Development.
Ironjet built a complete visual identity for A Bit Extreme, and implemented it across a wide variety of items. It’s a fun and youthful brand which has been received very well in Lloydminster.

Walk N Roll is a business who specializes in food delivery & catering. This unique logo also required a character design, based off of the company owner.
Doing a character design, and particularly a caricature, is always a time-intensive process. Caricatures are especially difficult, as it is possible to offend a person in attempting to portray their likeness in a fun and stylized way.
Rather than the typical carnival-style caricature, we went with a trendy “border-less” style which feels fun, feminine, and fashionable. Initially, the specifications called for a chef’s hat, but in the end it was removed and the hairstyle was adjusted to a ponytail. Doing so allowed for more eye-catching detail to be put into the strands of hair, which have a deceptively simple grace to them.
The logo itself is a neo-vintage style badge, which allows the character to overlap the porthole border which, in turn, overlaps the scalloped placard containing the logotype. The colours are vivid, bold and quirky — one of the requests was that the logo be able to sit on the food truck, which is bright red. This particular shade of purple and bright green worked well as a compliment to that colour.
As a final touch, polka dots were added for a bit of texture. The business cards made use of this texture with a Spot UV (selective gloss coating) only on the dots, logo and text.
